With an outstanding 60% elasticity at 500N, this webbing offers unparalleled flexibility while still providing enough tension to be suitable for seat applications. The adjustable firmness allows you to tailor the support level during installation, simply pull tighter to increase firmness. The extra width offers more surface area for weight distribution, making it particularly ideal for larger furniture pieces or in situations where extra stability is a priority.
Is 70mm Wide Elastic Webbing Ideal For Your Project?
This Premium 70mm Elasticated Seat Webbing offers 60% elasticity at 500N, making it an excellent choice for all applications or if you specifically desired high elasticity. How Much Webbing Do I Need?
When it comes to the 70mm version, you may require less webbing due to its wider surface area. However, it’s always good to have a little extra. Here’s a rough guide:
For Seats: About 2 meters for a dining chair, 4 meters for an armchair, 9 meters for a 2-Seater, and 13 meters for a 3-Seater.

- Cut the webbing to the desired length
- Staple, tack or clip one end of the webbing and pull it to the desired tension
- Secure the other end in to place with either staples, tacks or clips
- Trim any excess if needed
