Verify Your Barcode Code Before Ordering
To ensure this handset is a straight swap, turn your old remote over and read the barcode label. It must start with SN:WT034CD8LL SN:E034CD8LL or SN:ZE034CD8LL (the NHX letters appear only in manuals and parts lists, not on the barcode). A different prefix and first two letters or numbers after the CD8 means a different firmware set and it will not work. Double-check the plug is the right-angle 8-pin DIN version, not the smaller 5-pin style. Still unsure? Contact us or browse all electric recliner handset remotes (click here).
12 Button Massage & Heat Recliner Handset – Consumer-Friendly Upgrade
This eMoMo NHX034CD8LL remote restores full control to heat-massage recliners and theatre lounges. Twelve tactile push-buttons are arranged in a clear 2 / 3 / 3 / 2 / 2 layout beneath a back-lit LCD that shows mode, intensity and timer. The moulded 8-pin DIN lead carries both power and data, so there are no batteries to replace and no pairing steps—just plug and relax.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Tools you’ll need: Phillips screwdriver, clean work surface and a phone for photos.
- Power Down Safely
Switch the chair off at the wall and unplug the power adapter before you start. Wait 30 seconds for residual voltage to drain. - Prepare a Clear Workspace
Move nearby tables and objects out of the way to give yourself room to tip the chair without obstruction. - Tip the Recliner with Safe Lifting Practices
Recliners can be awkwardly heavy. Ask a second person to help, bend your knees, keep your back straight and grip the metal frame — never the upholstery. Tip the chair gently onto its front or side so the underside is fully accessible. - Take a Quick Photo
Use your phone to photograph the existing cable routing and 8-pin DIN plug location. This quick snapshot makes it easy to replicate the path with the new lead. - Remove the Old Handset
Unscrew the plastic holster (if fitted) or slide the pocket panel upward to reveal the cable. Press the locking tab on the 8-pin DIN plug and pull it straight out — no twisting. - Thread the New Cable
Starting at the arm pocket, snake the new lead along the same path you photographed, using existing cable ties or clips. Keep clear of moving scissor arms and pinch points. - Secure the Remote
Seat the new handset in the pocket or holster, reinstall the screws and ensure the keypad faces outward. - Restore Power and Test
Stand the chair upright using the same safe-lifting technique, plug the power adapter back in and switch on. The LCD will flash for two seconds then display the default timer & intensity. Run each button once to confirm full function.

FAQs
FAQs
How do I know if this handset is compatible with my chair?
Check the barcode on the back of your existing remote or control box. If it starts with SN:E034CD8LL, SN:ZE034CD8LL, or SN:WT034CD8LL and the plug is an 8-pin DIN, this replacement will work. Any other prefix (or a 5-pin plug) means you need a different remote.
My old remote is totally dead—will a new handset fix the problem?
In 90 % of cases, yes. Dead buttons, no LCD, or massage functions that won’t start are usually caused by handset failure. If the new remote still doesn’t power up, the fault may lie in the control box or power supply. Feel free to contact us for further troubleshooting.
Do I need special tools or technical skills to replace it?
No special tools. Unplug the chair, tip it forward safely, press the locking tab to unplug the old 8-pin DIN connector, route the new lead the same way, and plug it in. A Phillips screwdriver is only needed if you must remove a pocket holster. The whole job takes about five minutes.
Will all twelve buttons work on my recliner?
Every button is wired, but it will control a feature only if your chair’s control box supports it. For example, if your model has no seat heater, the Heat button simply does nothing—it won’t damage the chair.
What warranty and support do I get?
The remote comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. If you hit any issues—compatibility questions, installation hiccups, or warranty claims—call, email, or live-chat with our Brisbane-based support team. We’re furniture-repair specialists, so you’ll get real answers fast.
Who makes this remote controller?
