This genuine Logicdata loom (marked LOG-CBL-LAZ-BUNDLE-P41LC Rev 4) is the factory-supplied cable set for Silver-Series 51T single-motor lift chairs. Pre-terminated with a 5-pin handset plug for the P41LC remote, dual 8- and 10-pin actuator leads, and a 7-pin power-supply connector, it replaces any damaged, pinched or melted harness in one quick swap. Restore smooth, reliable motion to your La-Z-Boy without guesswork or rewiring.
This cable bundle is sometimes referred to as the transformer extension cable, Wiring harness or Wiring Loom all are the same cables if the part numbers match.
Check You Have a 51T Chair – Not 55T or Platinum
La-Z-Boy issue different looms for each platform. This harness suits all chairs sold as “Silver 51T” that use the two-button P41LC remote (5-pin).
- Compatible: Silver 51T lift recliners fitted with a single TiMotion TA-series actuator and 5-pin handset.
- Not compatible: Platinum 55T Basic (loom 10.000101), 55T Plus (loom 10.000103) or older 8-pin handsets.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide
- Prepare Your Workspace & Tools
• Clear a well-lit area large enough to tip the chair on its side.
• Gather a Phillips screwdriver, side-cutters (for any cable-ties), replacement cable-clips/zip-ties, and your phone camera.
• Wear closed-in shoes and light work gloves for grip and protection. - Isolate the Power
• Unplug the transformer from the wall and disconnect the two-pin IO lead from the chair.
• If a battery-backup pack is fitted, remove it.
• Press and hold the “down” button on the handset for 5–10 seconds to discharge any stored energy in the control box. - Tip the Chair Safely
• With a helper if available, bend your knees, keep your back straight and grasp the chair frame—not the arm pads—to roll it gently onto its side/back.
• Never lift by the footrest or actuator; these components can bend under load. - Take Reference Photos
• Before undoing anything, use your phone to photograph each plug connection and how the loom is routed through the frame.
• Close-up photos will save guesswork when fitting the new harness. - Disconnect the Old Harness
• Unclip the 5-pin handset plug, 8-pin and 10-pin actuator plugs, and the 7-pin PSU plug.
• Detach the small earth wire ring-terminal and any safety-key loop if fitted.
• Snip cable-ties or open P-clips and withdraw the old loom. - Route the New Harness
• Lay the new loom beside the old path, matching each branch to its destination.
• Pass the mesh-sleeved trunk through the same guides or holes, keeping wires clear of scissor arms and pinch points. - Reconnect the Plugs
• Push the 10-pin flat and 8-pin round motor plugs fully home—listen/feel for a click.
• Mate the 5-pin female handset socket and the 7-pin grey PSU connector.
• Re-attach the earth ring under its frame screw and reconnect the pinch-sensor/key loop if present. - Secure & Inspect
• Use new zip-ties or the original cable-clips to lash the loom to fixed frame points.
• Ensure no slack can droop into the scissor mechanism’s sweep range.
• Double-check that all plugs match the reference photos you took earlier. - Return the Chair Upright
• With your helper, grasp the frame low, bend at the knees and roll the chair back to its normal position.
• Keep fingers clear of the mechanism as it settles. - Reconnect Power & Test
• Plug the transformer back into the IO lead and wall socket.
• Sit in the chair and run a full cycle—lift, recline, return—to confirm smooth, fault-free operation. - Dispose of the Old Loom Responsibly
• Copper and mixed plastics can often be recycled—check local e-waste guidelines.

Will this harness fit my chair if the handset plug has 8 pins?
No. This loom is designed only for the 5-pin P41LC handset used on La-Z-Boy Silver-Series 51T chairs. If your remote has an 8-pin plug, you’ll need the 55T loom instead—ask us and we’ll point you to the correct part.
Does the harness include the handset, control box or transformer?
The listing is for the wiring loom only. Handsets, control modules and power supplies are sold separately. We stock all three, so just let us know if you’d like them added to the order.
How difficult is the installation—do I need a technician?
Most customers install it themselves in under 10 minutes. You’ll unplug the old loom, route the new one along the same path and click the colour-coded connectors together. A Phillips screwdriver, cable-ties and safe lifting technique are all that’s required.
