Installation Instructions
Please follow these steps to safely replace your Kaidi KDH072-001 2 Button Recliner Switch. Always disconnect your furniture from the mains power before starting any repair.
- Unplug the power: Disconnect the recliner from the wall power socket to ensure safety during installation.
- Access the old switch: Locate the existing switch on the recliner armrest or seat frame. Carefully remove the two screws holding it in place.
- Take a photo before unplugging: Before disconnecting any cables, take a clear photo of the old switch and plug connection. This will help you reconnect the new switch correctly.
- Disconnect the old switch: Gently unplug the 5 pin DIN connector from the actuator or control box, making sure not to damage the plug or socket.
- Fit the new switch: Connect the new switch’s 5 pin DIN plug into the same socket, aligning the retaining clasp lugs for a secure fit.
- Secure in place: Position the new switch in the same mounting location and fasten using 2 screws (not supplied).
- Reconnect the power: Plug your recliner back into the wall socket and test the new switch to confirm smooth operation.
