How to Replace the CN DOER DL-DT1006-016 Recliner Actuator
Before starting, confirm that the replacement actuator has the same model number, mounting measurements and plug connections as the original part.
- Disconnect the recliner from the wall socket and remove any connected battery pack or power supply.
- Carefully turn the furniture onto its side or back using safe lifting techniques and protect the floor with a blanket or drop sheet.
- Photograph the original actuator, wiring route, mounting points and plug connections before removing anything.
- Disconnect the male 2-pin OI power plug and release the retaining buckle before unplugging the female 5-pin DIN control connection.
- Remove any cable ties or clips holding the actuator leads to the furniture frame without damaging the surrounding wiring.
- Support the actuator and remove the two front mounting bolts, two rear mounting bolts and four bolts securing the mechanism to the white moving block.
- Remove the original actuator and compare it with the replacement, checking the model number, 513mm mounting distance, 50mm minimum install measurement and plug configuration.
- Position the new actuator on the mechanism and secure it using two bolts at the front, two bolts at the rear and four bolts through the white moving block.
- Reconnect the female 5-pin DIN control plug and secure its retaining buckle, then connect the male 2-pin OI power plug.
- Route the cables in the same position as the original wiring and secure them away from moving, sharp or pinching parts.
- Check that all eight mounting bolts are secure and that no cables can become stretched, trapped or crushed during operation.
- Carefully return the furniture to its normal position, reconnect the power and test the recliner through its full movement while watching and listening for any obstruction.
Important: Mounting bolts are not supplied. Reuse the original bolts only if they are undamaged and suitable for securely mounting the replacement actuator.
