Find the Straight 5 DIN Plug.
Trace the handset’s coiled lead to the control box under the chair; you’ll see the 5‑pin plug.
Unplug & Remove the Old Handset.
Press the retaining clip, pull the plug straight out, then slide the cable and handset clear of the arm pocket.
Plug In the New Handset.
Align the notch, push the new 5 pin DIN plug firmly home until it clicks.
Restore Power.
Reconnect the transformer and flick the wall switch back on.
Test Every Function.
Run each of the two buttons through a full cycle – Up/Down – to confirm smooth operation.

Will this fit my Lift chair?
If your recliner or lift chair has one motor and its existing handset terminates in a straight 5‑pin male DIN plug (180 ° pin layout), this remote is almost certainly compatible. we are aware it will not fit the La Z Boy ranges.
How long can this handset reach?
The overall length of the cable is approximately 1410 mm long.
Do I need an extension lead as well?
Yes if you require longer than the 1410mm this cable length is.
Is this handset covered by a warranty?
Yes—12 months against manufacturing defects. If it fails under normal use, contact us with your order number and we’ll arrange a replacement.
