Adjustable Lazy Boy Seat Swing Assemblies
Genuine La Z Boy mechanism replacement pair of Seat Swing Assemblies. These metal swing brackets connect the seat to the arms and the backrest to allow the seat and back frame to recline in unison. Supplied fully assembled with the wing nut brake adjustment to fine tune your ultimate comfort and self adjusting width to accommodate different backrest widths. Common Lazy Boy part found in the majority of there recliners using the same single arm peg design . These spare parts have the model number 12970446-00L and 12970446-00R.

Features – Wing nut tension brakes (These are NOT locks, they simply create resistance to allow the backrest to maintain a desired position although will move if too much pressure is applied)
Adjustable Width –The arm peg mechansim allows for different width back frames to be fitted to the same assemblies.
How To
How To
1, Lay a dust sheet on the floor
2, Safely tip forward the furniture remember safe lifting practices
3, We strongly recommend you photograph the mechanism prior to removing any parts so you know where they fit back onto
4, Release and remove the backrest frame
5, Push the seat frame forward to expose the two torx head bolts located near the armrest frame and remove the bolt both sides
6, Remove the 4 x torx screws holding the assemblies to the seat frame
7, Detatch and remove the Seat Swing Assemeblies
8, Install the replacement Seat Swing Assemblies into position ensuring the correct side is fitted to each side
9, Check the arm peg has located the inside arm holes
10, Re-install the two torx bolts into the arm frames
11, Align the seat plates to the seat frame and re-install the 4 x torx screws into the seat frame holes
12, Reconnect the backrest frame and lock into position
13, Carefully move the furniture back to the standard resting position
14, Test the recliner and adjust the wing nut tension if required.

Will this fit my La Z Boy?
If your recliner has this same single arm peg fitment where it attaches to the arm it will fit. If your seat swings have two bolts screwed to the arm frame these will not be suitable. Not compatible with part number 12900790-00L or 1290090-00R.
Will this fit my Jason recliner?
Yes. If you have the same single arm peg fitment where it attaches to the arm.
Are these interchangeable with the older version?
No. These are not compatible with the part numbers 12900790-00L or 1290090-00R.
