Very quick and easy to install with no prior experience and only a T30 Torx tool required!

How To
How To
1, Lay a dust sheet on the floor
2, Safely tip forward the furniture remember safe lifting practises
3, Carefully open the foorest to the maximum using the lever
4, Locate the section between the left and right legrest extensions and rear swings
5, Unscrew and remove original truss head screw and shoulder bushing (If older syle it will be a metal shoulder bolt and lock nut)
6, Position the new shoulder bushing into the rear swing round hole and manually align the leg rest extension until the shoulder tab clicks securly into the leg rest oval shaped slot
7, Install the truss head screw into the shoulder bushing and tighten up using a T30 bit or tool
8, Close the footrest using the lever
9, Carefully move the furniture back to the standard resting position.

Will this kit fit my recliner?
Being La Z Boy specific parts this truss head screw and bushing fits most manual and power rocker recliners, chaise rockers and glideaways.
Does this work on electric recliners?
Yes.
Where is this set used on the La z boy chair?
This truss head bolt and shoulder bushing is used on the leg rest join with the rear swing. This creates a moving joint when the lever is activated the legrest and rear swings work in unison.
My recliner has a metal version of this set are they interchangable?
Yes, this set is the latest desgin of the shoulder bushing set and desigend to replace the all metal shoulder bushing and lock nut type.
