Quick DIY Guide – Replacing Your Cup-Holder Insert
- Switch the recliner off at the wall (if yours has an LED cup holder) to avoid any accidental button presses while you work.
- Lift out the old insert. Grip the inside rim with your fingers and pull straight up.• If it feels stuck, twist gently left–right while pulling to break any dried-on residue.
- Clean the cavity. Wipe the plastic housing with a damp cloth to remove crumbs, sticky spills or lint before fitting the new liner.
- Choose the orientation.• Tapered end up – best for cans, bottles or glasses.
• Flat end up – flip the insert over for a stable base that suits coffee mugs or takeaway cups.
- Drop the new insert in. Align any drainage notch (if present) with the slot inside the housing, then press down until the rim sits flush with the armrest trim.
- Check the fit. Pop a drink in and make sure it sits snugly. Flip the insert if you want to swap between cold-drink and hot-mug mode.
- Power the recliner back on (for illuminated holders) and enjoy your next movie night spill-free!

How do I know this insert will fit my recliner?
Measure the inside diameter of your existing drink well. If the opening is ≈ 90 mm (the standard size used by Okin JLDP and many other brands) this 83 mm-wide liner will drop straight in. If your opening is larger or smaller, contact us for alternatives.
Does the insert include the LED ring, wiring or trim?
No. This product is just the black plastic liner that cradles the drink. Re-use your existing LED housing, wiring loom and metal/plastic trim. We stock the complete cup-holder assemblies separately if you need the electronics as well.
Can I use it for hot drinks as well as cold?
Yes. Insert it tapered side up to hold cans, bottles or glasses; flip it flat side up for a stable base that suits a coffee mug or takeaway cup. The food-safe plastic tolerates typical hot-beverage temperatures.
Is the liner dishwasher-safe?
It’s moulded from a food-grade polypropylene/ABS blend that’s top-rack dishwasher safe. For quickest results, just lift it out and rinse under warm soapy water.
