Kaidi KDH249D-009 Electric Recliner Switch with USB-A & USB-C
The Kaidi Electric KDH249D-009 is a premium multifunction replacement switch designed for compatible dual motor electric recliners, lounges and theatre seating. Finished in a modern nickel colour with a removable screw cover fascia, this genuine Kaidi switch provides a sleek high-end appearance while operating both the recliner footrest and adjustable headrest functions.
Also identified by part number MPJLDQ0690D-L, this 5 button recliner switch features clearly illustrated buttons for footrest open/close, headrest open/close and a convenient home position reset function. Integrated USB-A and USB-C charging ports make it easy to charge phones, tablets and other portable devices while relaxing, with a USB charging output specification of MAX 2000mA / 5V.
Fitted with a 5 pin male DIN plug and a 1420mm cable, the KDH249D-009 is designed for straightforward installation into compatible electric recliners and theatre lounges.
Important Left & Right Side Compatibility Information
This model is the LSF (Left Side Facing) version, which at Sofa Rehab we describe as the right-hand operated switch when seated in the recliner. Designed to mount neatly into the outer arm of compatible electric recliners and theatre lounges.

How To Install the Kaidi KDH249D-009 Recliner Switch
- Disconnect the power. Unplug your recliner from the wall power socket before starting any work.
- Remove the screw cover fascia. Carefully lift off the removable fascia cover from your existing switch to expose the mounting screws.
- Unscrew the old switch. Remove the screws holding the switch in place, then gently pull the switch out from the armrest.
- Disconnect the old plug. Follow the cable from the old switch and unplug the 5 pin DIN plug from the recliner wiring.
- Connect the new switch. Plug the 5 pin male DIN plug from your new KDH249D-009 switch into the matching recliner connection.
- Fit the switch into position. Place the switch body into the armrest cut-out and make sure the cable is not pinched or twisted.
- Secure the switch. Refit the mounting screws, then clip the removable screw cover fascia back into place.
- Reconnect power and test. Plug your recliner back into the wall socket and test the footrest, headrest, home button, USB-A port and USB-C port.
Important: Before fitting, compare the plug type, button layout, fascia size and cut-out size with your original switch. This model is the KDH249D-009 LSF version, which is right-hand operated when seated. If you need the opposite side, see the KDH249D-010 Switch.

What does the home button do?
The home button returns the recliner back to its default seated position by operating both the footrest and headrest functions together on compatible recliners.
