Standard Single Actuator Wiring Harness
A high quality replacement electric recliner chair and sofa single actuator wiring cable harness used to replace damaged cables coming out of the actuator and connecting the power supply and remote/switch/cupholder to the actuator. If your recliner actuator has a moving block that slides up/down the actuator to drive the mechanism this maybe the correct cable. Supplied with has a 2 pin AC/DC power supply and 5 pin plug from the controller this potentially is the harness for your actuator.

Make – Unbranded.
Model – Single actuator motor two plug long wiring harness.
Plug Types – Female 5 pin din plug with retaining clasp and male OI pin and straight spade also know as Hi-Fi or OI plug plus 1 x red and black pin terminals.
Operation – 2 pin is the power plug from the AC/DC transformer and the 5 pin din is to connect the switch, remote controller or cupholder.
Length- 360mm main cable that splits into two cables, 5 pin DIN cable is 550mm and the 2 pin male cable is 527mm an the red and black cables are 445mm long (all sizes are approx. and include the plug housing and subject to change depending on batch variations).
Note- This harness is not suitable for actuator/motors with the following, extending tube, cables that fitted to the motor housing end, actuator systems where more than one actuator is fitted or actuators/motors that have different cable wiring harnesses.
How To
How To
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THIS PART IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED!
1, Discount power supply to the electric recliner and check NO power is getting to the recliner parts
2, Locate the actuator and note how the actuator is assembled and take a photograph for future reference
3, Unplug the power supply and switch/remote/cupholder plug and remove actuator from the furniture
4, Remove motor housing, cover or fixtures of actuator assembly to locate the wiring terminals and disconnect
5, Install replacement harness by connecting the red and black pin connectors
6, Reassemble the housing, cover or fixtures ensuring no wires are trapped and the cable strain relief is correctly fitted
7, Refit the actuator to the furniture and secure in place
8, Reconnect the power supply plug and switch/remote/cupholder plug
9, Reinstate the mains power and turn on
10, Test the actuator for full clearance of any obstacles or trapped cables.

Will this fit my actuator?
This is not a universal actuator wiring harness, it is suitable for single actuators with the white moving block set up only and will not allow connection to a second actuator. The rubber strain relief moulding may be different from the original so therefore be a little looser or tighter.
Is this a DIY project?
As this is an electrical replacement cable that requires wiring to be reconnected please check with your local authority as to whether this needs to be installed by an appropriately qualified trades person like an electrician. We do not recommend installing this part if you are not qualified.
What plugs are supplied?
1 x power supply male 2 pin also know as HI-FI and OI and a female 5 pin female switch,/remote plug and retaining clip at one end and the connection end to the actuator is 1 x red and 1 x black terminals.
