This genuine eMoMo Tech round 2-button switch is designed to control the footrest function of electric recliner chairs and sofas. Finished in durable black plastic with modern blue LED backlit buttons, it’s both functional and stylish. The integrated USB charging port (5V 2A) lets you charge phones and tablets directly from your chair, while the A/B toggle switch allows installation on either the left or right-hand side of the recliner.
Compatibility and Model Information
Ensure compatibility by checking the serial number on your existing switch housing. This model is compatible when your serial number starts with SN: EP20LRU or SN: WTP20LRU. It also replaces older models including RemoP20J (SN: EP20J / WTP20J) and RemoP20DNU (SN: EP20DNU / WTP20DNU). It’s suited to most RemoP10 and RemoP20 series and 23300061X000, 23300063X000, and 23300114X000 switches that use a standard wiring sequence and is not compatible with RemoP30/40 series or customised. RemoP10/20 models (for example, RemoP10LRA).

How To Replace the eMoMo RemoP20LRU Recliner Switch
Replacing this switch is a simple DIY task that most users can complete in under 10 minutes with only a Phillips-head screwdriver. Follow these easy steps to restore your recliner’s functionality.
- Disconnect the Power Supply. Before starting, unplug the recliner’s power adapter from the wall socket and allow a minute for any stored power to discharge. This ensures your safety while working with the electrical connectors.
- Remove the Old Switch. Locate the existing switch on the outer arm of your recliner. Remove the decorative screw cover and undo the retaining screws. Gently pull the switch from the mounting hole to expose the plug connection.
- Unplug the Connector. Carefully disconnect the 5-pin right-angled plug from the switch. Avoid twisting or pulling the wires directly—hold the plug body when separating the connector.
- Connect the New Switch. Take the new eMoMo RemoP20LRU switch and connect the 5-pin plug firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are aligned correctly and the connection is secure.
- Secure the New Switch. Insert the switch into the 44 mm round hole and align the screw holes. Tighten both screws evenly, then replace the screw cover for a neat finish.
- Test the Operation. Reconnect the power supply and test both buttons. The front button should raise the footrest and the rear button should lower it. If the directions are reversed, use the small A/B toggle switch on the plug body to swap button direction—ideal for left or right-side installations.
