How To
How To
1, Unplug all power to the recliner and remove the mains plug from the wall and check no power
2, Lay a drop sheet on the floor and carefully turn the recliner over on its side or back, please remember safe lifting techniques
3, Check and make a note of how the cables are situated on the recliner frame (photograph is a good idea)
4, Remove any cable clips with pliers/cutters, unplug all linked plugs
5, Detach the Actuator/Motor pin and R clips from the clevis mounts and remove the part fully
6, Install the new Actuator/Motor by refitting the pins and R clips
7, Connect and plug all plugs in
8, Route the cables and attach in position with new cable clips
9, Carefully turn the furniture back over to the standard position
10, Reinstate the power and then fully test the recliner carefully checking all cables are in the correct position and are not being pinched or stretched.
