Description
Lazy Boy White Nylon Bearing
Genuine La Z Boy mechanism replacement spacing link bearing part number 15001058-00. This white nylon bearing is fitted between the drive rod and spacing link bar to allow for smooth rotation of the drive rod. If the nylon bearing falls free then the spacing link can cut into the drive rod and eventually snap the drive rod.

How To
How To
1, Lay a dust sheet on the floor
2, Safely tip forward the furniture remember safe lifting practices
3, We strongly recommend you photograph the mechanism prior to removing any parts so you know where they fit back onto
4, Release the toggle sub assembly extension spring
5, Remove all truss head screws and retaining spacer pins, 3 position ratchets (if fitted) from the drive rod
6, Release the leg rest shoulder bolts to release the leg rest extensions
7, Using the handle lever pull the whole drive rod out of the side of the chair until all relevant parts have been removed from the drive rod where you can then remove the White Nylon Bearing
8, Remove the original White Nylon Bearing and replace with the new White Nylon Bearing.
9, Reinstall the drive rod and associated parts as you push the rod back in to the chair
10, Reinstall all truss head screws, retaining ring spacers and the extension spring
11, Reconnect the leg rest extensions to the rear swings
12, Reinstall the 3 position ratchets (if fitted)
13, Carefully move the furniture back to the standard resting position
14, Test the recliner mechanism.
