Operating on a low voltage input of 9–30V DC, this unit is ideal for replacing a faulty USB port or adding a built-in charging solution to your seating. The clean round design with removable screw cover gives a tidy, OEM-style finish once installed.
Compact Design with Clean, Secure Installation
This unit measures 62mm in diameter with a depth of 43mm and is designed to be mounted into a cut-out size of approximately 41mm wide by 46mm deep. The removable front cover conceals the 4 screw mounting points, allowing for a secure fit while maintaining a clean appearance.
The attached cable is 1230mm in length and connects via a round female DC socket, providing flexibility when positioning the unit within your furniture.

How To Install the Mulin MLCZ015 Dual USB Charging Port
Installing this dual USB charging port is a simple do-it-yourself job that can be completed with basic tools and minimal experience. Follow the steps below for a neat and secure installation into your recliner, sofa or theatre lounge.
What You Will Need
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Drill (if creating a new hole)
- Suitable hole saw or cutting tool
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Pencil or marker
Step 1: Check the Installation Area
Choose a suitable installation position on the furniture arm, side panel or console area. Make sure there is enough internal clearance for the unit depth of 43mm and that there are no internal frame sections, springs, foam supports or wiring in the way.
If you are replacing an existing USB charging port, remove the old unit first and compare the dimensions before fitting the replacement.
Step 2: Prepare the Hole Cut-Out
If you are fitting this unit into a new location, carefully mark out the required hole size of approximately 41mm wide and 46mm deep. Check your measurements before cutting.
Cut the opening neatly and test fit the unit to ensure it sits correctly before securing it in place.
Step 3: Connect the Power Lead
Connect the charging port to a suitable low voltage furniture power source rated within the input range of 9V to 30V DC, 2.0A. The unit has a round female DC plug socket and a lead length of approximately 1230mm, allowing flexibility when routing the cable inside the furniture.
Before final mounting, ensure the plug connection is secure and positioned away from moving parts of the recliner mechanism.
Step 4: Secure the Charging Port
Place the unit into the hole and align it correctly. Secure it using 4 screws through the mounting points. Please note that screws are not supplied.
Once fitted, attach the removable screw cover so the installation has a neat and tidy finish.
Step 5: Test the USB Ports
Restore power and test the unit. When powered, the two USB-A ports will illuminate blue. Check that your devices charge correctly from both the 5V 1A and 5V 2A USB outputs.
