Replace a lost or faulty remote on any Okin-powered adjustable bed that uses a CB-series control box. The JLDK 18.04.89 handset (sometimes stamped RF44.18.11 or RF44.18.01) is function-for-function identical to every JLDK 18.04.89A variant, pairs in seconds, and restores full head, foot and massage control without tools or wiring. Three AAA batteries (not supplied) give around a year of everyday use.

This handset transmits Okin’s latest RF44 2.4 GHz signal and will only pair with control boxes whose label begins “CB.”. It is not compatible with legacy JLDP-series boxes or any IR-only systems.

How to Pair & Install Your New Handset
Pairing a JLDK 18.04.89 remote to an Okin CB-series control box is a quick two-minute DIY job. No tools or cables required.
- Fit fresh batteries.
Slide off the rear cover and insert 3× AAA alkaline cells, observing the polarity symbols. - Confirm your control box.
Lift the mattress and locate the black plastic control unit fixed to the frame.
Check the white label begins “CB.”. (If it begins “JLDP.” this handset will not pair.) - Put the base into pairing mode.
On the CB box, double-press the small recessed PAIR button.
The status LED turns blue and the actuator gives a short “jog”. - Send the pairing command.
On the handset, hold the two keys Head Up and Head & Foot Up together for ~3 seconds.
The CB box LED changes to green then goes out – pairing is complete. - Test all functions.
Press Flat and verify the base returns to level.
Check Zero-G, memory presets, massage and under-bed light work as expected. - Pairing a split-king?
Slide the six-position channel switch inside the battery bay toCH-2(or any unused channel) and repeat steps 3-4 with the second CB box.
Each side now responds only to its own remote.

Will this remote work with my adjustable bed?
Yes—provided the control box under your base has a label that starts with “CB.” (e.g. CB.19.04.01). It will not pair with older JLDP-series or IR-only boxes. If you’re unsure, send us a photo of the label and we’ll confirm
I’ve lost a remote stamped RF44.18.11—can I use this JLDK 18.04.89 instead?
Yes absolutely. All RF44-series and JLDK 18.04.89 variants (including 18.04.89, 18.04.89A and 18.04.89B) are functionally identical. Colour or icon layout may differ slightly, but every button matches the same feature on your CB-series control box.
How do I pair the handset after fitting the batteries?
Double-press the PAIR button on the CB control box (LED turns blue). 2) Hold Head Up + Head & Foot Up on the remote for three seconds. The LED turns green and you’re done—no tools, no cables.
What batteries does it use and how long will they last?
The handset runs on three AAA alkaline cells (not included). With normal nightly use you can expect around 12 months before the back-lighting starts to dim—just pop in a fresh set.
