This genuine Pride Mobility hand controller is manufactured by MOTO for compatible T3 lift chairs. Identified by model HSW208F, Pride part number ELEASMB7275 or number P/N7275, its red coloured six-button layout controls the chair’s independent backrest adjustment, combined backrest and footrest movement, and standing and seated positions.
The remote has an 885mm long partly coiled cable and a male 5-pin DIN plug with two side retaining pegs for a locking buckle. How to Replace a Pride Lift Chair Hand Controller
Replacing the Pride MOTO HSW208F hand controller is a straightforward plug-and-play repair that does not normally require any tools. Before installation, compare the model number, part number, six-button layout and 5-pin plug with your original handset.
Before You Begin
- Place the lift chair in its normal seated position, if possible.
- Ensure nobody is sitting in or using the chair.
- Switch off the chair and disconnect its power supply from the wall outlet.
- Keep hands, clothing and cables away from the lift and recliner mechanisms.
Step-by-Step Handset Replacement
- Locate the handset connection.
Follow the cable from the original hand controller underneath or behind the chair until you find where it connects to the chair’s wiring system. - Release the retaining buckle.
