Zig Zag Upholstery Spring S-clips
Handy 10 pack of durable and strong replacement metal framed with plastic insert spring clips suitable for no sag, serpentine or zig zag springs. These 8-13 gauge spring retaining clips are commonly attached to the face of the chair or lounge timber frame rather than the top of the timber frame and used to facilitate the secure connection of the seat and back springs. Each spring requires 2 x Zig Zag Seat spring clips. (Screws, nails and staples not supplied)

How To Install
NOTE THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS ASSUME YOU HAVE REMOVED ANY ACCESSORIES, FRAME OR FABRIC TO EXPOSE THE SPRING AREA!
Pro tip- Take a photo of the spring area before you start to note any specific areas like spring spaces or clip positions etc to refer back to if needed!
1, Carefully remove the metal retaining hook of the spring by forcing the spring hook to the exit of the plastic insert (Be careful the spring could be under extreme tension and possible risk of injury)
2, Remove the screws, nails or staples securing the spring clip to the timber
3, Place the replacement clip directly in the same position as the original spring clip
4, Next fasten the spring clip to the timber rail with either screws, nails or staples.
5, Carefully pull and retention the spring retainer hook end into the spring clip (Be careful the spring will be under extreme tension and possible risk of injury)
6, Refit any upholstery fabric and padding removed to access the spring area.

Yes, these are a great alternative to Oke style clips.
I have Ek clips will these work?
Yes, Ek and standard Spring clips do the same function as these Zig Zag upholstery clips although these Zig Zag spring clips commonly fit to the face of the frame rather than the top of the frame.
What do I get in the pack?
You will receive 10 x individual Zig Zag Seat Spring Clips. Screws, nails or staples are not supplied.
What fixings are needed to secure these clips?
