Description
Theorem HSW305-B-PT Lift Chair Remote Controller with USB Charging
The Theorem HSW305-B-PT remote controller is a genuine replacement handset designed for electric lift chairs and recliners with a dual actuator system. Featuring a 5-button layout, this remote allows you to control lift and recline functions, adjust the headrest independently, and activate the built-in heat function for both the seat and backrest. Also known as the “Cheshire” remote, this model offers reliable performance and a straightforward replacement solution.
Dual Actuator Control with Heat Function
This remote is specifically designed for chairs with two motors. One actuator controls the lift and recline movement, while the second operates the headrest for added comfort and positioning. A dedicated heat button allows you to turn on the heating function, providing extra comfort across the seat and backrest.
An integrated USB charging port is located at the end of the handset, ideal for powering mobile devices while you relax.
5 Pin DIN Plug – Check Compatibility
This handset uses a 5 pin male DIN plug and is designed to suit compatible Theorem lift chairs and similar models using the same connection and function layout. It is important to match the model number (HSW305-B-PT), plug type, and button configuration with your existing remote to ensure compatibility.

How To
How To
- Turn off the chair and unplug it from the wall.
Always disconnect the power before working on any electric recliner or lift chair. This helps prevent accidental movement while you are replacing the remote. - Take a photo before disconnecting anything.
Use your phone to take a clear photo of the existing remote connection and cable routing. This gives you a handy reference when fitting the new handset. - Access the remote cable connection safely.
If you need to move, tilt or lift the chair, use safe lifting practices and ask another person to help. Lift chairs can be heavy, so do not strain yourself or place your hands near moving mechanisms. - Unplug the old remote controller.
Locate the 5 pin DIN plug for the existing remote. Gently disconnect it by holding the plug body, not the cable. Avoid pulling on the cord. - Connect the new Theorem HSW305-B-PT remote.
Line up the 5 pin male DIN plug correctly and push it firmly into the matching socket. Do not force the plug. If it does not fit easily, check the pin alignment and socket type. - Route the cable neatly.
Position the part coiled and part straight cable so it is clear of moving parts, hinges, lift arms and pinch points. Make sure the remote can be comfortably reached from the seated position. - Restore power and test the functions.
Plug the chair back into the wall and test each button one at a time. Check the lift, recline, headrest open/close and heat functions before normal use. - Contact us if anything does not work as expected.
If the remote does not operate correctly, stop using the chair and contact us for assistance. A mismatch in model number, plug type or button configuration can cause compatibility issues.
