This genuine Mulin Electric hand controller switch, model AC035-2MB-2UQ02(LSF), is designed for electric recliner chairs, lounges and theatre seating with dual motor functions such as independent footrest and headrest operation. Finished in a modern nickel colour, this premium switch features a curved top fascia, removable screw cover, integrated USB-A and USB-C charging ports, and a convenient home button function.
The switch fascia measures 142mm wide by 56mm high and requires a furniture cut-out size of approximately 125mm x 38mm with a minimum depth of 50mm. Includes an attached 245mm lead with male 5 pin DIN plug, plus a 1590mm extension lead with retaining clasp and matching 5 pin DIN connections for straightforward installation.

This model number is AC035-2MB-2UQ02(LSF) and is the right-hand side switch when seated in the recliner chair or lounge. Despite the manufacturer using the “LSF” code, Sofa Rehab identifies recliner switch positions based on the seated position of the user.

How To Replace the Mulin AC035 Recliner Switch
1. Disconnect the recliner power supply from the wall socket before starting, and make sure the furniture cannot accidentally operate during the repair.
2. Practice safe lifting techniques if you need to move or tilt the recliner. Recliner furniture can be heavy and awkward, so get assistance if needed and avoid lifting with your back.
3. Take a few clear photos of the original switch, cable routing and plug connections before disconnecting anything. These reference photos can make reassembly much easier.
4. Locate the existing recliner switch and carefully remove the screw cover from the front fascia.
5. Remove the mounting screws securing the switch to the furniture frame. Keep the screws safe as replacement screws are not included.
6. Gently pull the switch outward from the armrest opening to access the wiring and plug connections.
7. Disconnect the existing 5 pin DIN plug connection and retaining clasp.
8. Compare the old switch and plugs against the new replacement to confirm compatibility before installation.
9. Connect the new Mulin AC035-2MB-2UQ02(LSF) switch using the supplied extension lead if required.
10. Ensure the plugs are fully inserted and the retaining clasp locks securely into position.
11. Carefully place the wiring back into the furniture cavity, ensuring cables are not pinched, twisted or resting against moving mechanism parts.
12. Position the new switch into the cut-out opening and secure it using the original mounting screws.
13. Refit the removable screw cover to restore the clean finished appearance.
14. Reconnect the recliner power supply and test all switch functions, including footrest movement, headrest adjustment and USB charging ports.
