Kaidi KDH134D-001 2 Button Recliner Switch with USB Charging Port
The Kaidi KDH134D-001 is a genuine 2 button electric recliner switch designed for single actuator recliner chairs, lounges and sofas. Finished in brushed chrome, this side mounted switch features white LED illuminated button strips and an integrated USB-A charging port for convenient device charging while you relax.
This switch is suitable for left or right side fitment and includes the wiring harness, inline control module and 5 pin male DIN plug with retaining clasp lugs. It is a practical replacement for compatible electric recliners using the same switch model, plug style and cut-out size.
Switch Dimensions and Cut Out Measurements
Please compare your existing switch measurements before ordering to make sure this is the correct replacement. Many recliner switches look very similar from the outside, but the switch body, plug type, wiring and cut-out size can be different.

Wiring Harness and Plug Details
This recliner switch comes with a wiring harness and control module fitted on the lead. The switch cable connects to the harness using a white system plug, with the other end running to the control module and then to a 5 pin male DIN plug with retaining clasp lugs.

How To Install The Kaidi KDH134D-001 Recliner Switch
Replacing your electric recliner switch is a straightforward DIY repair that most people can complete with only a screwdriver and a few minutes of time. Before beginning the installation, disconnect the recliner power supply from the wall socket and practice safe lifting techniques when moving or tilting the furniture.
We strongly recommend taking a photo of your existing switch, wiring and plug connections before removal. This makes installation easier and helps ensure the replacement is connected correctly.
- Disconnect the recliner transformer power supply from the wall outlet.
- Carefully tilt or move the recliner to gain access to the switch and wiring underneath the furniture. Always lift safely and get assistance if needed.
- Remove the screw cover from your existing switch and undo the mounting screws.
- Gently pull the switch outward from the arm of the recliner.
- Take a clear photo of the wiring connections and cable routing before disconnecting anything.
- Disconnect the existing switch from the white system plug and remove the 5 pin DIN plug connection from the recliner system.
- Connect the new Kaidi KDH134D-001 switch to the matching plugs and route the cables in the same position as the original installation.
- Insert the new switch into the arm cut-out and secure it using 2 mounting screws (not included).
- Refit the removable screw cover for a clean finished appearance.
- Reconnect the recliner power supply and test the open/close movement and USB charging port.
