This eMoMo Tech GS05802900200 AC/DC transformer is a replacement power supply brick for electric recliner chairs, lift chairs, powered sofas and theatre lounges. It is used to convert wall power into the low voltage DC power required by compatible recliner motors, control boxes and powered seating systems.

How To Replace Your eMoMo Tech GS05802900200 Recliner Power Supply
This tutorial is for replacing the AC/DC power brick transformer on an electric recliner chair, lift chair, powered sofa or theatre lounge. No electrical wiring is required. The transformer and cables use push together plug connections.
Important: Always disconnect the recliner from wall power before starting. Do not use damaged, crushed, frayed, loose or unsafe cables. If you are unsure about electrical safety, stop and seek help from a qualified person.

Unplug the recliner from the wall socket.
Turn the wall socket off first, then unplug the existing wall power cable from the power point. -
Move the recliner carefully to access the power supply.
Use safe lifting and moving techniques. Avoid dragging the furniture over the cables, and ask for help if the recliner is heavy or awkward to move. -
Take a photo before disconnecting anything.
A quick photo of the original cable layout can help you reconnect everything the same way, especially if your recliner has multiple leads underneath. -
Disconnect the old AC/DC transformer.
Unplug the wall power cable from the transformer, then disconnect the 2 pin OI recliner-side cable. Hold the plug housings when disconnecting, not the cable itself. -
Check whether your existing cables can be reused.
If your original wall power cable and 2 pin OI extension cable are safe, undamaged and fit firmly, you can reuse them with the replacement transformer. If a cable is missing, damaged, crushed, loose or too short, select the matching cable add-on before checkout. -
Connect the wall power cable to the new transformer.
Insert the figure 8 / C8 wall power lead into the wall-side socket of the new eMoMo Tech power brick. Make sure it is pushed in firmly. -
Connect the recliner-side 2 pin OI plug.
Match the round pin and flat pin connection to the recliner-side cable. The plug should align easily. Do not force the plug if the shape or pin layout does not match. -
Use a splitter cable only if needed.
If you are powering two compatible recliner actions from one transformer, connect the optional 2 pin OI splitter cable between the transformer and the two recliner-side leads. Only use a splitter where your recliner setup is designed for this style of connection. -
Position the transformer and cables safely.
Place the power brick where it will not be crushed by the recliner mechanism, trapped under the frame, pulled tight, or pinched when the chair opens and closes. -
Reconnect wall power and test the recliner.
Plug the wall cable back into the power point and turn the power on. Test the recliner open and closed while watching that the cables stay clear of moving parts. -
Return the furniture to position.
Once the recliner is working correctly, move it back into place carefully. Keep enough space behind or under the recliner so the cable is not stretched, bent sharply or crushed.
Troubleshooting Tip: If the recliner still does not operate after replacing the transformer, check that the wall socket is switched on, all plugs are fully connected, and no cables are damaged. If the transformer is correct but the recliner still does not move, the issue may be with the OI cable, switch, handset, junction box, motor actuator or another electrical component.
