385 mm Closed-Length Recliner Motor Actuator – AA Momentum HK-DTZZ 2411-385/600
Designed for single-motor electric recliners, lift chairs and chaise modules, this genuine AA Momentum actuator delivers a 215 mm stroke (600 mm fully extended, 385 mm closed) and up to 8000 N of quiet, smooth push. It arrives factory-assembled with Ø10 mm clevis eyelets, a 5-pin DIN handset lead, and the industry-standard 2-pin “OI” DC power plug—so it bolts straight in and plugs straight up to any 29 V 2 A transformer. <h3>Direct Replacement for Shenzhen Goodhealth & Motion Drive Units.
Direct Replacement for Shenzhen Goodhealth & Motion Drive Units
Carrying the same 2411-385/600 code you’ll see on many Shenzhen Goodhealth, Motion Drive and un-branded OEM actuators, this motor is a like-for-like swap—no wiring mods, no bracket drilling. Check your old motor’s label: if it reads **…385/600** and uses the 5-pin / 2-pin plug set, this unit restores full lift or recline function in minutes. Common cross-codes include HK-DTZ 2411-385/600, HSM-264/600 and MDL-2411-385/600.

Step-By-Step Installation Guide
Please read all steps before you begin and allow the chair to cool for at least 30 minutes if it was recently in use.
- Unplug & Power-Down
• Switch the chair off at the wall and remove the transformer plug from the mains socket.
• Disconnect the 2-pin DC plug at the transformer so no power can reach the actuator while you work. - Photograph the Existing Setup
• Take clear photos of the old actuator, cable routing and clevis pin orientation.
• These reference images make re-assembly fool-proof. - Prepare a Safe Working Area
• Place the chair on a flat, non-slip surface.
• Lay down a soft mat or blanket to protect upholstery and flooring.
• Have a helper on hand if the chair is heavy. - Use Safe Lifting Technique
• Bend at the knees, keep your back straight and lift with your legs—never with your back.
• Tilt the recliner onto its side only as far as needed to access the mechanism. Support it with a sturdy box or wood block so it can’t rock back. - Remove Clevis Pins
• Locate the R-clips (or split pins) at each end of the old actuator.
• Using pliers, straighten and pull the R-clips free, then slide out the Ø10 mm clevis pins. Keep them for re-use or replace with the new ones supplied. - Disconnect Control & Power Leads
• Unplug the 5-pin handset lead from the actuator’s DIN socket.
• Trace the actuator’s 2-pin DC lead back to the wiring loom and separate at the connector. - Lift Out the Old Actuator
• Support the mechanism with one hand while gently withdrawing the actuator.
• Place the old unit aside for recycling—do not discard in general waste. - Install the New Actuator
• Position the HK-DTZZ 2411-385/600 so the motor body sits in the same orientation as your photo.
• Align the clevis eyes with the brackets, slide in the pins and secure with the R-clips. - Reconnect Wiring
• Plug the handset lead into the 5-pin DIN socket until the clip clicks.
• Connect the 2-pin DC plug to the extension lead from the transformer, ensuring the round & flat pins match. - Function-Test Before Uprighting
• Restore power at the wall.
• With the chair still on its side, press the handset buttons to confirm smooth extend/retract without binding.
• Unplug again before turning the chair upright. - Return the Chair to Normal Position
• Lift with your legs, guiding the chair back onto its feet while your helper steadies the base.
• Remove any support blocks and check that all cables are clear of pinch points. - Final Safety Check & Enjoy
• Reconnect mains power and run a full cycle (open & close) while seated.
• Ensure the mechanism moves quietly and stops cleanly at its limits.
• Dispose of packaging responsibly and store tools away.

FAQs
FAQs
How can I confirm this actuator will fit my chair?
Match three things on your old motor’s label: the model code ends in 2411-385/600, it has a 5-pin DIN handset socket and a 2-pin (“OI”) DC power plug. Also measure the closed length (pivot-to-pivot) – it should be about 385 mm. If all three line up, this unit is a direct swap.
What tools do I need to install it?
Just a pair of pliers (to remove the R-clips). The job takes about 10 minutes and no wiring or soldering is required. Our step-by-step guide and video tutorial walk you through the process
Is the stroke (travel) length important?
Yes. This actuator travels 215 mm (600 mm minus 385 mm). Using a longer or shorter stroke can stop the mechanism closing fully or over-extend it. Measure the fully extended gap on your existing unit or check the label to ensure the 600 mm extended length matches.
Will my existing transformer and handset work?
If they already plug into a 5-pin DIN socket (handset) and the standard 2-pin round/flat “OI” power plug, they’ll work exactly the same with this motor. The actuator is rated for the common 29 V DC, 2 A (58 W) supply used in most recliners and lift chairs.
I have the Shenzhen Goodhealth Motor Manu Co LTD actuator by the same model number, will this still work?
Yes, this is a like for like replacement.
What warranty and support do I get?
ofa Rehab provides a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. You’ll also have phone, email and chat support from our in-house technicians, plus access to detailed installation guides and videos to make DIY replacement easy.
