5 Pin La Z Boy Power Supply Transformer
This is a genuine La Z Boy replacement transformer which we import from T-Motion, the manufacture of the power supply transformers for La Z Boy 45T Recliner Chairs. Model T-Motion TP2-1053-008 and TP2-A1A-1A. Part Number 10.000110.0002.
The ac/dc power pack has an output specification of 29V 2.5A and has an attached 5 Pin female plug & retaining clip.
This transformer supports a mains power range of 100v-240v and 50/60Hz making it suitable for use in any country.
Model TP2-1053-008 with Internal Battery Backup.
In the event of a power outage, the internal battery backup can supply power for closing the recliner chair mechanism. To use the power backup feature you need to install 2x standard 9v batteries into the internal compartment. The batteries are option and the unit will work directly off mains power even without batteries installed. Batteries are not included due to shipping restrictions.

How To
1, Disconnect power to the recliner and check no power to the recliner
2, Locate the wall plug and disconnect from the wall socket
3, Remove the figure eight wall plug from the transformer
4, Open the retaining clip and disconnect the 5 pin din plug
5, Install the new transformer
6, Connect the din plug and close the retaining clip
7, Connect the figure eight plug into the transformer
8, Connect the wall plug into the wall socket
9, Switch power on as the socket
10, Test the recliner.

Will this fit my La Z boy?
If your recliner has a male 5 pin power plug then this transformer will be suitable.
Are batteries supplied?
No, we do not include batteries due to shipping restrictions. The 9V batteries are readily available at hardware stores. Type required 2 x 9V 6LR61.
My recliner is a lift and tilt recliner will this fit?
Yes if you have a 5 pin plug connection.
