How To
1, Lay a dust sheet on the floor
2, Safely tip forward the furniture remember safe lifting practices
3, We strongly recommend you photograph the mechanism prior to removing any parts so you know where they fit back onto
4, Release the shoulder bolt and screw from the leg rest extensions to release the leg rest from the rear swing
5, Forcefully lift the leg rest extension up and away from the front support tube and remove the plastic snap
6, Install the new plastic snap making sure the direction of the snap is correct
7, Reinstall the leg rest extension to the front support tube and ensure the plastic snap is securely in position between the leg rest and support tube
8, Reinstall the shoulder bolt and screws between the leg rest and rear swing parts
9, Carefully move the furniture back to the standard resting position
10, Test the recliner mechanism.
