3, We strongly recommend you photograph the mechanism before removing any parts to assist with accurate reassembly.
4, Release and remove any parts attached to one of the legrest extensions, such as the bushings, screws, and footrest board.
5, Remove the legrest extension arm, taking note of its orientation and positioning for correct installation.
6, Install the new legrest extension arm and reattach all components removed in step 4, ensuring they are properly secured.
7, Repeat steps 4 to 6 for the second legrest extension arm.
8, Carefully return the recliner to its upright resting position using safe lifting techniques.
9, Test the recliner mechanism to ensure the legrest operates smoothly and correctly.
