Genuine La Z Boy part - 02-000659
Genuine La Z Boy mechanism replacement Drive Toggle Metal bracket with the part number 02-000659. This metal clevis bracket is used to connect the actuator to the drive rod to then assist the movement the leg rest extensions. A common Lazy Boy part fitted to the XR and 55T power recliner ranges.
Note : Due to the extensive La Z boy ranges which utilise this part, we are unable to list all the different fitting instructions. However YouTube is a very good source for videos to help.
Do You Have a Broken Plastic Mechanism?
Early designs of the Lazy Boy XR Power recliner mechanisms where manufactured with a problematic plastic moulded Drive Toggle and Motor Clevis Mount parts which commonly exploded during use. To overcome this failure La Z Boy superseded the two sub standard parts with a single durable metal clevis bracket (P/N 02-000659) which is compatible with most of the remaining plastic parts within the mechanism. You will however need to add spacing bearings and may need to upgrade the Drive Toggle Connector as some older designs of the connector will not be compatible.

Will this fit my La Z Boy?
If your recliner has this same bracket it will fit. If you have an XR, XR+, 55T or 55TH power recliner it will fit.
My bracket is plastic will this fit?
Yes, however you will need to also purchase bearings and a new drive toggle connector which are both available though our website.
Is this easy to fit?
This part will require moderate DIY skills. We are unable to provide all relevent fitting instructions due to the number of different options available. YouTube is a good source for instructions videos though!
Does this fit all models of La Z boy's?
