Okin PD13 67881 Recliner Chair Power Supply Transformer
This genuine Okin Phoenix Mecano PD13 67881 AC/DC transformer is a replacement power supply for electric recliner chairs, lift chairs, powered sofas and theatre lounges that use the matching PD13 power supply system.
The PD13 transformer connects mains power to the recliner’s low voltage electrical system and supplies 29V DC output to the chair through the matching 2 pin OI style plug connection. It is commonly used where the original Okin PD13 power supply has failed, been misplaced or no longer powers the recliner correctly.
This transformer has label specifications of 100V to 240V input, 50/60Hz, max 1.5A, with 29V output and 52W power rating. Please compare the label on your old transformer before ordering.
The Okin PD12 (65447) transformer supports wall power in the range of 100v to 240v and 50Hz – 60Hz so it is suitable for use in any country.
Replacement for Discontinued Okin PD13 65447 Power Supply

This product is supplied as the transformer unit only. It does not include the output OI extension lead, circlip retaining lock pin, wall power cord or 9V batteries.
The mains power inlet on the transformer accepts a figure 8 C8 style power cord. A suitable wall power cord can be selected as an add on near the add to cart button if you need one.
The output socket accepts the matching 2 pin OI male plug with one round pin and one flat blade. The PD13 design also has provision for the original circlip style retaining lock pin that helps hold the OI plug in place. This circlip is not supplied with the transformer.
Please check your existing output lead before ordering. If your original output cable, plug or retaining clip is damaged or missing, contact us before purchasing so we can help check the best available option.
Emergency 9V Battery Closure Function
The Okin PD13 transformer includes a compartment for 2x 9V batteries. This is an emergency closure feature designed to help close the recliner during a power outage.
This feature is not intended for normal cordless operation and will not reopen the chair. If the emergency closure function is used, the 9V batteries should be replaced after use. If the battery function is not used, the batteries should still be replaced every 12 months.
Batteries are not supplied with this transformer.

How To Replace an Okin PD13 67881 Recliner Power Supply Transformer
Replacing an Okin PD13 transformer is usually a simple plug-in replacement when your recliner, lift chair or powered lounge already uses the matching PD13 power supply setup. No electrical wiring work is required, but you must check the model number, plug shape and power cord connection before fitting the new transformer.
Important: Do not open the transformer housing, cut cables or attempt electrical repairs. If any cable, plug, socket or chair wiring is damaged, stop and contact Sofa Rehab for help before connecting the new power supply.
Before You Start
- Check your old transformer label for Okin PD13, 65447 or 67881.
- Confirm your chair uses the matching 2 pin OI male plug with one round pin and one flat blade.
- Confirm you have a suitable figure 8 C8 wall power cord, or select one as an add on near the add to cart button.
- Have 2x fresh 9V batteries ready if you want to use the emergency closure battery function.
- Keep the old circlip retaining lock pin if your original transformer used one, as a new circlip is not supplied.
Step By Step Installation
- Unplug the recliner from the wall socket.
Always disconnect mains power before removing or replacing the transformer. - Locate the old PD13 power supply.
The transformer is usually found behind the chair, under the recliner, or near the rear of the lounge frame. - Disconnect the figure 8 wall power cord.
Remove the C8 figure 8 power cord from the mains inlet side of the old transformer. - Disconnect the 2 pin OI output plug.
Unplug the chair’s low voltage output lead from the transformer. If your original setup uses a circlip style retaining lock pin, remove it carefully and keep it aside for reuse. - Compare the old and new transformers.
Confirm the new transformer is the Okin PD13 67881 replacement and that the output socket, mains inlet and label details match your old setup. - Connect the chair output lead.
Push the 2 pin OI male plug into the output socket on the new PD13 transformer. Make sure the round pin and flat blade are aligned correctly and the plug is seated securely. - Refit the circlip retaining lock pin if used.
If your original transformer had a circlip style lock pin, refit it to help hold the OI plug in place. The circlip is not supplied with this transformer. - Connect the figure 8 wall power cord.
Plug the C8 figure 8 power cord into the mains inlet on the transformer, then connect the wall plug to the power outlet. - Test the recliner operation.
Operate the chair using the handset or switch to confirm the recliner opens and closes correctly. - Position the transformer safely.
Place the transformer where it will not be crushed by the recliner mechanism, trapped under the chair frame, exposed to moisture or pulled tight by the cables.
Using the Emergency 9V Battery Closure Function
