This is the genuine replacement handset for the Y.S Designs Vitality Smart Chair. Manufactured and supplied by Y S Chains Pty Ltd, the controller is rated at 24V DC, 60W. It restores full use of your chair with a simple plug-in swap, no setup required.

How To Replace the Vitality Smart Chair VC01 / HC01 Remote
Replacing your Vitality Smart Chair handset is a quick DIY task. No tools or programming are required, and you can do it in just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to ensure a safe and successful replacement.
- Unplug the chair from power. Always disconnect the AC power supply from the wall socket before working on any electrical part of your recliner.
- Position the chair safely. If you need to tilt or move the chair to access the control box, ask for assistance and use safe lifting techniques. Do not attempt to flip or drag the chair on your own.
- Take a reference photo. Before disconnecting anything, take a clear photo of the existing handset plug connected to the control box. This makes it easy to check orientation and positioning later.
- Remove the old remote plug. Locate the 4-pin DIN connector for the existing handset. Gently release and unplug the connector from the control box.
- Install the new remote. Align the pins on the new handset’s plug with the socket and push firmly until secure. Ensure the plug is fully seated with no exposed pins.
- Reconnect power and test. Plug the recliner back into the wall socket and test all functions (lift, recline, leg, back, arms, heat, vibration) to confirm the new handset is operating correctly.
