Kaidi KDH084-301 Right Hand Recliner Switch with USB Charging Port
The genuine Kaidi KDH084-301 is a premium replacement 2 button electric recliner switch designed for single actuator recliner chairs, lounges and theatre seating. This right hand operated model features blue LED illuminated button surrounds, an integrated child lock feature and a USB A charging port rated to MAX 2000mA/5V for conveniently charging compatible devices while relaxing.
The switch has a round 73mm outer face with a removable screw cover that conceals the 4 mounting screws for a clean and modern appearance. The switch body measures 68mm round and requires a 50mm cut out hole with a minimum installation depth of 36mm. Fitted with a long 2040mm cable, inline control module and straight 5 pin male DIN plug for simple plug-and-play installation.

How To Install the Kaidi KDH084-301 Recliner Switch
Before starting the replacement, disconnect the recliner power supply from the wall socket or battery pack. For safety, never work on the recliner while power is connected.
Electric recliners can be heavy and awkward to move, so always use safe lifting techniques. Ask another person for assistance if required and avoid lifting heavy furniture on your own.
- Carefully move the recliner away from the wall so you can access the side arm and underside of the furniture.
- Before removing the old switch, take a clear photo of the existing switch, cable routing and plug connections. This will help as a reference during installation.
- Remove the outer screw cover from the existing switch to expose the mounting screws.
- Unscrew and remove the old recliner switch from the furniture arm.
- Follow the cable from the switch underneath the recliner and locate the straight 5 pin DIN plug connection.
- Disconnect the old switch cable from the recliner system by carefully separating the plug connection.
- Route the new Kaidi KDH084-310 switch cable through the same path as the original cable, ensuring the cable is not twisted, pinched or stretched.
- Connect the new switch plug firmly into the matching 5 pin DIN socket.
- Position the new switch into the mounting hole and secure it using the original screws.
- Clip the removable screw cover back into place for a neat finished appearance.
- Reconnect power to the recliner and test all switch functions, including recline operation, USB charging port and child lock feature.
