This genuine Kaidi replacement lithium rechargeable transformer power supply is suitable for use with electric recliner armchairs, sofas and theatre lounges. Discreet design that fits under most furniture and out of view. The battery pack casing has screw mount points so that it can be hidden under the recliner, or you can leave it unsecured resting on the flood underneath. Supplied with a female OI plug and male OI plug.
Important Information If Replacing The KDDY022A-2600 Battery
If you are replacing the KDY022A-2600 With The KDLi26A Read This Important Information
Changzhou Kaidi Electrical Inc have discontinued the KDY022A-2600 which were commonly used in some of the Nick Scali, Freedom and Plush lounges and other brands of electric recliners. However the original battery model KDDY022A-2600 was manufactured with a round female 6 pin input socket which connected to the 6 pin charging port located at the rear of the arm or backrest of the furniture and this charging port utilised a external charging adapter. However new model KDLi26A which is the replacement for the KDDY022A-2600 has been designed and manufactured with a 2 pin input and output connection instead of the 6 pin like on the original battery, so this means that the new KDLi26A battery will not connect to the original charging port or charging adapter and both will need updating at the same time as the battery.
In Short if you are using the KDLi26A as a replacement for the KDDY022A-2600 you will need to purchase from our store the following products to replace the current set up:-

All rechargeable lithium batteries have limitations and fluctuations in operating capabilities and this KDli26A Li-ion 2600mAh battery is no different. This battery requires charging every 6-8 weeks even if it has not been used or low on charge.

Will this connect to my electric recliner?
For this to work you need to already have the OI pin connector cable not a 6 pin and the external transformer adapter to charge the battery. Purchase these from our store. If you are just replacing the battery pack and therefore only need this battery and it plugs into the existing set up.
How long does it take to charge?
Approximately 6 hrs to fully recharge.
How long will the charge last?
This is very dependant on various contributory factors such as how heavy the furniture and user are, if any back lit LED switches, remotes with illuminated buttons or seat touch sensor buttons installed as these all draw continuous power from the battery and drain the charge. However we expect the battery to supply multiple reclines (approximately 250 cycles) but an exact number is not possible to determine.
If I do not have a Lithium Ion battery pack already can I use this one with my existing set up?
Yes, You can connect your original power supply to this lithium battery to charge it. Your current electrical set up needs to be the OI plug version and not a 6 pin round plug.
How do I charge this lithium battery pack?
You connect a 2.0A power supply transformer to the furniture and wall socket to charge.
Can I run two recliners from this battery?
No, This is for single use recliners and sofas only. If you have a 2 or 3 str power recliner with two recliners you will one for each recliner.
Will this work on a recliner lift chair?
No this is only suitable for power recliner armchairs and sofas.
