How To
How To
1, Lay a dust sheet in front of the furniture
2, Practising safe lifting techniques carefully turn the furniture over onto its front
3, Open the footrest fully
4, Locate the centre drive rod and the spacing link bar and nylon bearing and the broken Retaining Ring Spacer pin and fully remove all parts of the broken pin
5, Before installing the replacement pin make sure the spacing link bar and nylon bearing are connected together
6, Install the replacement Retaining Ring Spacer ensuring the two bends of the retaining ring spacer are facing towards the rear of the furniture and once in position using pliers bend the long exposed pin end around the underside of the drive rod to stop the pin from falling back out
7, Close the footrest
8, Practising safe lifting techniques carefully turn the furniture over into its standard position
9, Test the recliner
