How To
How To
1, Lay a dust sheet in front of the furniture
2, Practising safe lifting techniques carefully turn the furniture over onto its front
3, Open the footrest fully if required
4, Locate the centre drive rod or front support tube depending on where this part is needed and locate the broken Retaining Ring Spacer pin and fully remove all parts of the broken pin
5, Before installing the replacement pin make sure the mechanism parts are in the correct position to access the drive rod or front support tube hole
6, Install the replacement Retaining Ring Spacer ensuring the pin is fitted in the correct direction and once in position using pliers bend the long exposed pin end around the underside of the drive rod to stop the pin from falling back out
7, Close the footrest if it was opened
8, Practising safe lifting techniques carefully turn the furniture over into its standard position
9, Test the recliner
