How To
How To
To safely install the Rocker spring assembly always use wooden wedges or similar to spread the fixing plates to the correct distance.
1, Make space and place down a sheet to protect the floor and chair
2, Safely turn the chair over practicing safe lifting techniques
3, Open the footrest using the lever
4, Note down or photograph the original screw positions on the rocker spring assemblies for future reference
5, Install wooden wedges (Not supplied) or similar to evenly space open the springs for easy screw removal
6, Using a T25 Torx bit or screw driver remove the top 3 screws on each assembly attached to the polished base
7, Remove the polished wooden base clear of the chair
8, Remove the remaining screws securing the assembly to the wooden rocker blocks and remove the rocker spring assemblies
9, Position the replacement rocker spring assemblies and install the first set of screws on each side into the wooden rocker blocks using the same holes used previously
10, Install the wooden wedges to evenly space the fixing plates
11, Position the polished base and insert the last set of screws on each side using the same holes
12, Remove the wooden wedges
13, Close the footrest using the lever
14, Finally using safe lifting techniques turn the chair over and test for functionality.
