How To Install
- Lay a drop sheet on the floor and carefully turn the item over on its side or back, please remember safe lifting techniques
- Locate the broken or stretched seat spring by undoing the base cloth etc
- Carefully unhook the broken spring from all clips
- Place the new spring in the front clip and carefully pull the other end of spring and position in the rear clip (take care at this point as the spring will be loaded and powerful)
- If the spring is too long use a hacksaw or bolt cutters to cut down to the required length and repeat instruction 3
- If required refit or use ‘W’ clips and support wire to add support if required
- Carefully turn the furniture back over to the standard position

- Measure the distance between the inner front and rear seat frame timber rails, this is where the spring and its clips are attached too known as spring rails.
- This distance is the size spring you should order. If the spring size falls between ours spring sizes we recommend you round down to the nearest whole size.
