This replacement AC/DC transformer is for La Z Boy 41TT Bronze lift chair recliners originally supplied with the TiMotion TP2-2284-001 power supply. Once the batteries have been used for emergency closure, they should be replaced. We also recommend replacing the batteries every 12 months, even if they have not been used.
Batteries are not supplied due to shipping restrictions, so you will need to purchase 2 x 9V LR61 batteries separately if you want to use the emergency closure feature.
Important Note About The Low Voltage Cable Length
The original TP2-2284-001 transformer was supplied with a longer low voltage OI cable, approximately 600mm long. The replacement transformer supplied for this listing has a shorter low voltage cable, 130mm long.
This is usually not an issue for installation because the La Z Boy 41TT Bronze lift chair is normally fitted with the 3.5 metre OI extension lead from new. The transformer still uses the same female 2 pin OI plug with retaining clasp, so it connects into the chair’s existing OI extension lead.
If your original La Z Boy extension lead is missing, damaged, crushed or unsafe, you can add a replacement La Z Boy 3.5 metre OI extension lead using the options near the add to cart button.

How To Replace Your La Z Boy TP2-2284-001 Transformer
This guide is for replacing the transformer power supply on a La Z Boy 41TT 2 button lift chair recliner originally fitted with a TP2-2284-001 transformer. The replacement supplied for this product is the TiMotion TP2-H119-001 with matching TP2-31A-1 spec code.

Before You Start

Step By Step Replacement Instructions

- Reconnect power and test the chair.Plug the chair back into the wall socket and test the lift chair using the handset. Run the chair only briefly at first to confirm normal operation.
