Headrest Swival Mount Kit
Genuine La Z Boy replacement pair of plastic headrest mechanism mounts. Model number found on the parts are 05.000011 and 05.000017. These black plastic brackets are designed to push and pull the power headrest frame and cushion forward and backwards. Common Lazy Boy part found in the majority of the XR+ and 55TH ranges of electirc recliners.

How To
How To
1, Disconnect the power to the furniture and then press the remote or switch buttons to confirm no power getting to the furniture
2, Lay a dust sheet on the floor
3, Safely tip forward the furniture remember safe lifting practices
4, We strongly recommend you photograph of the mechanism prior to removing any parts so you know where they fit back onto
5, Release the backrest upholstery to access the inside of the headrest
6, Disconnect the headrest actuator and tension spring from the plastic mechanisms
7, Unscrew both parts of the plastic mechanism and remove from the furniture
8, Whislt the parts are out of furniture swap over the 4 silver square nuts from one the original mechanism to the new (Tip, use a small hammer to tap the square nuts into the slots)
9, Install the two halfs of the plastic headrest mechanism into the correct position
10, Reconnect the headrest actuator and tension spring
11, Refit the upholstery
12, Carefully move the furniture back to the standard resting position
13, Reconnect the power supply
14, Test the recliner headrest function.

Will this fit my La Z Boy?
If your recliner is a 55TH or XR+ power recliner with an electric headrest function this will fit.
Will i get the bolts and actuator?
No, We sell the plastic mechanism without any fixtures. You should be able to reuse all the neccessary original fixtures.
Is this easy to fit?
This part will require moderate DIY skills. We have provided step by step instructions to follow. Please see our 'How To' tab.
Does this fit all models of La Z boy's?
