Sofa Rehab Timber Furniture Wax is a 50g furniture care wax made in Australia from Australian beeswax and natural tree oils. It is designed to nourish, polish and protect suitable timber furniture while refreshing dull or tired surfaces, bringing out the grain and restoring a soft waxed sheen.
Use it on suitable modern, vintage and antique timber furniture, including tables, chairs, cabinets, sideboards, desks, bed frames and visible timber furniture components.
Furniture Maintenance Rather Than a Repair Filler
This wax is primarily intended for routine furniture care, polishing and making light surface wear less noticeable. It does not replace missing material or fill deeper scratches, chips, holes and cracks.

Use the following timber types and finish colours as a general guide when choosing between Clear, Brown and Black Furniture Wax:
- Clear: Suitable for most light, medium and dark timber where you want to maintain the existing colour. Possible matches include pine, oak, Tasmanian oak, ash, beech, birch, maple, blackbutt, spotted gum, teak, jarrah and walnut.
- Brown: Best suited to warm brown, medium brown, dark brown and red-brown furniture finishes. Possible matches include walnut, teak, mahogany, jarrah, rosewood, merbau, dark oak and brown-stained pine.

How to Apply Timber Furniture Wax

Step-by-Step Application Instructions
- Apply a Small Amount of Wax Place a small amount of wax onto a clean, lint-free cloth. Apply the wax sparingly to the timber surface using circular motions while working in the direction of the timber grain.
- Allow the Wax to Set Leave the applied wax on the surface for approximately 15 minutes before buffing.
- Buff the Timber Surface Buff the surface with a clean, soft cloth until the desired sheen is achieved. Continue working with the direction of the timber grain for an even finish.
- Reapply When Required Inspect the finished surface and reapply the wax as required. Use thin applications to maintain better control over the final colour and sheen.
