What Size Colourant Do I Need? Our Coverage Guide

  • 15ml pen – Suitable for coverage of several scuffs or scratches.
  • 50ml bottle – For 1 armrest of standard seat.
  • 125ml bottle – For 2 standard seat panels.
  • 250ml bottle – For 3 standard seat panels and armrests.
  • 500ml bottle – For 1 complete 3 seater.
  • 1 litre bottle – For 1 complete 4 seater and 2 armchairs.

Our water-based highly concentrate leather colourants are designed to colour over the repair with a few coats and its great adhesion properties mean it will not rub off during use or cleaning.

This leather colourant will cosmetically colour over damaged areas fast and will look & feel like the surrounding leather.

This is an ideal product to repair pet damage, leather scratches, scuffs and worn areas on leather lounges or recliner chairs. This colourant is also included in our Essentials Leather Repair Kit.

How To

How To

  1. Shake bottle well to ensure contents are thoroughly mixed
  2. Apply a small amount of colourant next to the damaged area and tint if required
  3. Lightly sand the area to be coloured
  4. Clean the area with Leather Prep Wash and allow to dry
  5. Apply the colourant in thin even coats using either the touch up sponge or cotton tips provided
  6. Ensure each coat is fully dry before applying the next coat
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the desired covered is achieved
  8. Rinse sponges in clean water for future use Tip – A hairdryer can be used to speed up the drying process

I was doubtful this would repair our badly damaged headrest area of our leather lounge. But, I thought had nothing to loose so I gave it a try.

I cut a tiny sample of our leather away from underneath the recliner where that cannot be seen & sent that to Sofa Rehab to hopefully match our colour.

I've just completed the repair & colour. The colour match is perfect & now I cannot see where the damage was before. Marvellous product.
