The Mulin MLKZ020-A3 control junction box is designed to power and synchronise LED lighting and accessories in electric recliner chairs, sofas and theatre lounges. It converts a 29V DC input down to 12V DC output, allowing LED light strips, illuminated cup holders and similar accessories to operate correctly and consistently.
Commonly installed inside centre consoles or between joined recliner seats, this unit ensures all connected lighting turns on, off and changes colour together across the entire lounge.
Designed for Multi-Seat Recliners & Theatre Lounges
This junction box is typically used in 2-seater recliners, 3-seater lounges and home theatre seating where multiple seats share lighting and accessory systems. It links both sides of the lounge so that all LED features remain synchronised rather than operating independently.

How To Install the MLKZ020-A3 Recliner Junction Box
Replacing your recliner LED junction box is a straightforward DIY task. Follow the steps below to safely remove the old unit and install the new one.
- Disconnect Power
Unplug your recliner from the wall power outlet and, if applicable, disconnect the transformer from the chair to ensure there is no power running through the system. - Access the Junction Box
Locate the junction box inside the centre console or between the recliner seats. You may need to gently tilt or move the furniture to gain access. Always use safe lifting techniques and get assistance if needed. - Take a Reference Photo
Before disconnecting anything, take a clear photo of the existing wiring and plug positions. This will make it much easier to reconnect everything correctly. - Disconnect the Old Unit
